Photographing at the NYC Highline

The High Line has quickly become one of the city’s most popular attractions, renowned for its great views and relaxed atmosphere elevated above the bustling city streets.  Located in the heart of the art-centric neighborhood of West Chelsea, it’s a beautiful spot to photograph the vivacious spirit of New York. 

Join us for this 2-hour class in which you will photograph the essence of the High Line.  In this class we will take advantage of the striking evening light as we photograph portraits with background blur, cityscapes with a deep depth of field, and low-lighting situations using our ISO.  As the sun sets, we will practice in shifting lighting conditions, use fill flash, and finish with some beautiful long exposures of the city skyline.

For this class, you will need to bring a digital camera that allows you to go up to f/22 to ensure long exposures. If your camera does not allow for this setting please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you.
