Photography Classes in NYC

Street photography is arguably one of the most practiced photographic styles. In this five-week street photography class, you will learn helpful methods and tips to make visually compelling pictures on the street. 

You will practice picture making during in-class excursions as well as on your own. We will discuss common practices utilized by master photographers, tips on photographing strangers, examine successful street pictures and view films as inspiration for your own work. In-class critique sessions will provide feedback from the instructor with the goal of facilitating a discussion on your successes and ways of improving. At the end of this course, you will have amassed a group of coherent and visually compelling street photographs that meet your goals and expectations.
