Contest Theme: Spring Fever - #PhotoUnoSpringFever

We are excited to invite you to submit your photos for PhotoUno’s May 2018 Contest “Spring Fever”! This time of year is so exciting! Photographs of spring are available everywhere.

This season is a perfect time for change. Reinvent the way you photograph by taking a step beyond the close up flower photo.

NYC is a vibrant place. Record this season by including all the things happening around you: people in the streets wearing vibrant colors, people enjoying a nice day in Central Park, having a picnic, the hat show near Easter time. Enjoy the scent of Spring and the energy that Spring brings!

We are looking for photos which think out of the box; that use the words "spring fever" as an inspiration to tease the viewer about what they see when looking at their photograph. Your photographs need not be literally about spring, you can use the theme Spring Fever to open your senses and evoke this idea with your photographs.

How to Submit:

Upload your photos to Instagram with the hashtag #PhotoUnoSpringFever. In the description make sure you include your First Name, Last Name Initial, last course taken e.g. Karen R. Photography II

Each person can submit a maximum amount of 3 Photos. The winners’ photos will be printed and exhibited at our East Side location. Reception will take place on May 4, 2018

Timeline and Important Dates:

Submission deadline: Monday, April 30th 11:00 pm EST
Photo selection: Tuesday, May 1st
Student Notification: Tuesday, May 1st

Exhibition Date: Friday May 4, 2018

Eligibility:

Students eligible to have their work considered for the exhibition must have taken (or is currently enrolled) any 3, 5, or 6-week course or Crash Course at PhotoUno Photography School from 2011-2018.
