Refund Policy

1. Refund Policy for Courses 

  • PhotoUno offers a 90% refund for students who notify us of withdrawal from a course seven days prior to the course's start date. The remaining 10% will cover administrative costs.
  • We also offer a 50% refund for withdrawals 6 days before the course is set to begin and between class #1 and #2.
  • Any refund can only be processed upon notification to PhotoUno. 
  • As of class 2 we do not provide refunds or credits. 
  • Tuition is non-transferable.
  • Once you’ve registered for a course there is a one-time transfer fee of $60 fee into another section. 
  • No course refunds will be issued after a section transfer has been granted.

Student Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are not satisfied after attending all classes of any of our 3 week, 5 week or 6 week courses we will provide you with a full refund.

2. Refund Policy for Crash Courses

  • PhotoUno offers a 90% refund for students who notify us of withdrawal from Crash Course 1 or Crash Course 2, 72 hours before the class begins. The remaining 10% will cover administrative costs.
  • After 72 hours we will provide you with a credit which you will be able to use for a future date plus a $60 transfer fee. 

3. Refund Policy for private classes

  • Due to administrative costs, PhotoUno offers a 90% refund for students who cancel their scheduled class more than 48 hours in advance.
  • Students who have registered for a private class may reschedule without any additional fees up to 48 hours in advance. 
  • There is an additional $80 fee for students that re-schedule less than 24 hours in advance.
  • There is no refund for students who cancel less than 24 hours in advance.

4. Refund Policy for outdoor classes, seminars, and workshops*

  • PhotoUno will provide a refund only when the event is cancelled or rescheduled by the school. *This refund policy also applies to our 2-hour courses.

5. Refund Policy for Gift Cards

  • Non-refundable: Gift cards are non-refundable upon purchase.
  • Validity: Gift cards remain active for one year from the purchase date.
  • Class Purchase: Gift cards can be bought as a course, private class, or value. The value of the gift card at the time of purchase can be utilized to enroll in any of our classes, including both online and in-person classes, as well as private classes.
  • Credit Usage: The value of the gift card can be applied as credit toward any class or service we offer.
  • Redemption: Recipients must provide the gift card code to redeem it during registration.
  • Transferability: Gift cards are transferable but not for commercial resale.

6. Refund Policy for Summer Camps

We strive to be fair and transparent with our refund policy. Please review the details below:

Refund
Eligibility: Cancel at least 30 days before camp start date for a 90% refund.

Partial Refund
Eligibility: Cancel 14-29 days before camp start date for a 50% refund.

No Refund
Eligibility: No refunds for cancellations less than 14 days before camp start date.
Exception: Medical emergencies or extraordinary circumstances may be considered for partial refunds or future camp credits at the director’s discretion.

Session Changes
Eligibility: Requests must be made at least 14 days before the original session start date, subject to availability.

Camp Cancellation

  • If the camp cancels a session due to low enrollment, weather, or unforeseen circumstances, you will be notified and can:
  • Transfer to another session (if available)
  • Receive a full refund

Refunds issued using the original payment method. Refunds processed within 7-10 business days.
