It’s easy to get great photos when the lighting is ideal, but more often than not, photographers have to learn to cope with difficult lighting conditions.  Maybe you need to photograph an indoor event, like a wedding or a graduation ceremony, but you aren’t allowed to use flash.  You’re disappointed when your photos turn out blurry or too dark.  Or maybe you can use your flash, but you’re never pleased with the results—a washed out subject, for example.  In this low-light photography workshop, we will teach you some simple tricks to getting the shots you want in situations where there’s little light available.

In this class, we will discuss how to resolve low-light situations both with and without using your on-camera flash. We will cover topics like using high ISO settings, making the most of ambient light, and what equipment will help you get better shots.  You will learn how to photograph moving subjects in low light, improvise light sources, use your flash effectively, and more.

Join us and learn to take great photos in low-light conditions!
