This short photography course focuses on simple techniques for taking better pictures. The purpose is for students to learn skills such as composition, use of the light, proper exposure, and filling the frame. Photographs will be analyzed to understand how experts compose their images within their camera frame. Additionally, students will learn the specifics about manipulating light depending on the time of the day, sun and shade, and subject placement. Understanding of histograms, metering, exposure compensations, depth of field and bracketing, are also included. 

Course requirements: Digital Compact camera and manual (if at hand). DSLR cameras are also welcome.
